Prime Minister Calls on President

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting lasted for about 35 minutes. They discussed about various issues of national and international importance and also the President's forthcoming State Visit to Mauritius. The Prime Minister briefed the President about the efforts being made by the Government to resolve the differences with the civil society activists on the proposed Lokpal Bill.
