The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil in her message on the occasion of the martyrdom day of Guru Teg Bahadur, which falls tomorrow, has said, "On the occasion of the Martyrdom of Guru Teg Bahadurji, let us resolve to eschew hatred and violence from our thoughts.
May all of us strive to follow his teachings of love, harmony and compassion and his supreme sacrifice in the cause of secularism and all round progress of our country."
