President of India Condoles Passing Away of West Bengal Chief Minister's Mother

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of the mother of the Chief Minister of West Bengal, Kum. Mamata Banerjee.
In her condolence message on the passing away of Smt. Gayatri Devi, the President has said, "Smt. Gayatri Devi was a woman who had a will of steel. After the loss of your father when you were young, she gave you guidance and provided the environment at home, necessary for your development. That is why it is said that God created the mother, as he cannot be everywhere.
