The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has sent his greetings to fellow countrymen on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti which is being celebrated tomorrow.

In a message, the President has said, "The life and teachings of Guru Nanak Devji are of profound significance to mankind. His message of love, harmony and brotherhood, his universal vision and compassion provide inspiration for all humanity.

May each one of us imbibe his ideals and endeavour to apply his noble teachings in our daily lives.

On the sacred occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Devji, I extend my greetings to all my fellow citizens".
