President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day Ofbangladesh

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people ofthe People’s Republic of Bangladeshon the eveofthe National Day ofthe People’s Republic of Bangladesh(March 26, 2015).

In his message toHis Excellency Md. Abdul Hamid, the President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, I am pleased to convey to you and to the people of Bangladesh our warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day.

I recall with great pleasure our meeting during your visit to India in December, 2014. I am confident that the relationship between our two countries would continue to grow and expand to include new areas of cooperation in a mutually beneficial manner”.
