President of India Will Attend the First Convocation of Indian Maritime University Tomorrow

<p>The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee will visit Tamil Nadu (Chennai) on February 22, 2014 where he will attend the 1st Convocation of Indian Maritime University at Chennai Trade Centre.</p><p>The Indian Maritime University was formed by an Act of Parliament in 2008 encompassing the National Maritime Academy, Chennai; LBS College of Advanced Maritime Studies and Research, Mumbai; T. S. Chanakya, Mumbai; Marine Engineering and Research Institute (MERI), Mumbai; Marine Engineering and Research Institute (MERI), Kolkata; Indian Institute of Port Management, Kolkata and National Ship Design and Research Centre, Visakhapatnam in its fold.</p><p class="last-word">This release issued at 1225 hrs</p>
