President of India Condoles the Passing Away of Shri Ravindra Jain

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has condoled the passing away of Shri Ravindra Jain.

In his condolence message to his wife,Smt. Divya Jain, the President has said, "I am sad to learn about the passing away of Shri Ravindra Jain.

In the passing away of Shri Ravindra Jain, the nation has lost a veteran music director, lyricist and multi-talented artist of extraordinary ability.

In recognition of his achievements in the field of music, Shri Jain was honoured with several awards including Padma Shri this year.His demise hasleft a void in the field of music which will be difficult to fill.The melodious music composed by him will continue to enthrall music lovers forever.
