The whole concept of developed India 2020 is aimed to uplift the 260 million people living below the poverty line. It concentrates on five areas. Agriculture and Agro processing, Education and Health Care, ICT, infrastructure including water and power and critical technologies for strategic sector. Action is required to be taken in an integrated way in all the areas, so that the benefits reach the poor very fast. As part of this mission we have PURA mission for promoting rural prosperity through connectivity.
