<p class="title1">Dear Jawans</p><p>I am delighted to meet the Jawans , JCO and officers at Tangdhar today. <br />Tangdhar is a symbol of our courage, bravery and determination. <br />Tangdhar is an important battlefield for India. <br />We need to be extra alert for its security.</p><p><strong>I am proud to see your high morale. I want to recite one of my poems on this occasion.</strong></p><p class="title1">My Dear Soldiers;</p><p>Oh, Defenders of borders <br />You are great sons of my land <br />When we are all asleep <br />You still hold on to your deed <br />Windy season or snowy days <br />Or scorching sun's sweltering rays <br />You are there guarding all the time awake <br />Treading the lonely expanses as yogis <br />Climbing the heights or striding the valleys <br />Defending the deserts or guarding the marshes <br />Surveillance in seas and by securing the air <br />Prime of your youth given to the nation!! <br />Wind chimes of my land vibrate your feat <br />We pray for you brave men!! <br />May the Lord bless you all!!</p><p>You work hard day and night to protect our borders. It gives us the opportunity to work peacefully for the development of our nation.</p><p>I assure you that you live in the heart of every Indian. Government is also concerned about your and your families welfare and happiness.</p><p>I wish, all of you became the role model for our youth by your conduct, attitude and bravery.</p><p><strong>I have prepared a five point oath for you, will you read it with me?</strong></p><p>1. I am proud to be a member of the Indian Army of great traditions. - Will you be proud of it?</p><p>2. I will always win and will lead my country towards victory.</p><p>- Will you do it?</p><p>3. I will become a benevolent and will give every possible help to my countrymen at the time of crisis.</p><p>- Will you help?</p><p>4. I will celebrate the success of my nation and people with pride. - Will you celebrate?</p><p>5. My flag is my life.</p><p class="last-word">Do you believe in it?</p>
