Record Number of People Visit Mughal Gardens on Sunday, February 22, 2009

The Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan including the Musical Garden, Spiritual Garden, the Herbal Garden and the Bio-diversity Park, which have been opened for viewing by the general public from February 7th, saw a record number of persons visiting them on Sunday. 95,537 persons, a record for a single day, visited the Gardens.
More than 4 lakhs persons have already visited the Gardens, which shall remain open for public viewing till March 9th. The Gardens are open on everyday, except Mondays. Entry into the Gardens is through Gate No.35, near North Avenue from 10.00 AM till 05.00 PM., with the last person allowed entry into the Gardens at 04.00 PM.
