Prime Minister Calls on President

The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh called on the President Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. The meeting lasted for about 40 minutes. The two leaders discussed about the ongoing Budget session of the Parliament, issues pertaining to the JPC, measures to check price rise, food security, internal security and also the current situation in the Arab world. They also discussed various other issues of national and international importance.
