President of India to Visit Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh on Five-day Tour

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil leaves New Delhi tomorrow on a five-day tour to Mumbai and Madhya Pradesh where she will visit Indore, Ujjain, Bhopal and Gwalior. This shall be the President's first visit to Madhya Pradesh, since she assumed office in July last year.
While in Mumbai, the President shall inaugurate the "International Conference on Responsibility to the Future: Business, Peace, Sustainability", on June 26th.
Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, while in Indore shall dedicate the Choithran Netralaya to the nation as well as inaugurate the Media Bhavan of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya on June 27th.
The President shall make a brief visit to Ujjain on June 28th after which she will address the Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Sammelan and inaugurate the Paraspar Sahkari Bank in Indore.
During her visit to the state capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal on June 29th, the President shall inaugurate the Administrative and Academic Block of Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Open) University, inaugurate the Centre for Advanced Research and Development, People's Group and attend the inaugural function of the Usha Kiran Scheme for Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence, which has been launched by the Women and Child Development Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh.
On the final day of her tour on June 30th, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil will visit Gwalior and attend the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Madhav Institute of Technology and Sciences before returning to New Delhi on the same day.
