President Of India Congratulates Sachin Tendulkar On Becoming Highest Run Scorer In Test Cricket

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has congratulated master batsman, Shri Sachin Tendulkar on becoming the highest run scorer in Test Cricket today, during the first day of the Second Test against Australia at Mohali.

In her message, from Hisar where she is on a short visit, the President has said, " I am extremely delighted and proud that you have reached the pinnacle of achievement in cricket today, by becoming the highest run getter in Test Cricket. By doing so you have given joy to billions of Indians and I am sure that you will continue to set new standards of achievement in the future."
