President Of India Condoles Passing Away Of Shri B. Vijay Kumar

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the passing away of the veteran personality in the cooperative sector, Shri B. Vijay Kumar.

In her condolence message, the President has said, "Shri Vijay Kumar was an untiring advocate of the co-operative movement. He truly understood the benefits of the movement in the banking sector for society in general and the common man in particular. This was reflected in the work which he put-in as the President of the National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB). In his passing away the co-operative movement has lost one of its leading advocates as well as a valuable member."
