President Condoles Loss of Lives in a Road Accident in Karnataka

The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil has condoled the loss of lives in a road accident in Hassan District of Karnataka on Thursday, in which a number of persons lost their lives and a number of others were injured.
In a letter to the Governor of Karnataka, Shri Rameshwar Thakur, sent from Shimla where the President is currently on a visit, Smt. Patil has conveyed her condolences to the next of kin of the deceased and has also sent her prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured.
