President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day of Estonia

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people ofthe Republic of Estonia on the eve of theirNational Day (February 24, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Toomas Hendrik Ilves, the President of the Republic of Estonia, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my behalf, I have pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of the Republic of Estonia on the occasion of your National Day.

India and Estonia have warm and friendly relations of long standing. I am confident that your guidance will contribute to the enhancement and further strengthening of our bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest – especially information technology, e-governance and cyber security.

I look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration and close cooperation between our two countries in the years to come.

I would also like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes for your good health, well-being and for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Estonia”.
