President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day of Cameroon

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Cameroon on the eve of their National Day (May 20, 2016).
In his message to His Excellency Mr. Paul Biya, the President of the Republic of Cameroon, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, the Government and the people of the Republic of Cameroon warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day.
Our engagement has expanded steadily in recent years, particularly in the areas of trade and development cooperation. Your participation in the Third India-Africa Forum Summit, held in New Delhi, provided a valuable opportunity to both sides to discuss ways to further strengthen our multi-faceted engagement. I am confident that our close and friendly relations will continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
I take this opportunity to convey my good wishes for Your Excellency’s health and well-being, as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Cameroon”.
