President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day of Bulgaria

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Bulgaria on the eve of their National Day (March 3, 2016).

In a message to His Excellency Mr. Rosen Plevneliev, the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in conveying to Your Excellency and to the friendly people of Bulgaria warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day.

The long-standing friendly ties between India and Bulgaria are based on strong historical foundations and have developed into a many-faceted relationship. I am confident that our cooperation will continue to expand and diversify to encompass new areas of our shared interest for the mutual benefit of the peoples of our two countries.
