President of India’s Message on the Eve of National Day of Bahrain

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the King and people of the Kingdom of Bahrainon the eve of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain(December 16, 2014).

In his message toHis Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government and the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me immense pleasure to extend warm greetings and felicitations to Your Majesty and to the friendly people of Bahrain on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

India deeply values its close and friendly relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain, marked by vibrant people-to-people contacts. The landmark State visit to India by Your Majesty in February this year has taken this bilateral partnership to new heights. I am confident the mutually beneficial cooperation between our two countries will continue to deepen and expand in the years to come.
