President of India’s Message on the Eve of Independence Day of Finland

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Finland on the eve of their Independence Day (December 6, 2015).

In his message toHis Excellency Mr. Sauli Niinisto, the President of the Republic of Finland, the President has said, "On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, I have great pleasure in extending warm greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the friendly people of the Republic of Finland on the occasion of your Independence Day.

India and Finland enjoy warm, cordial and multi-dimensional relations which are based on many shared values. I look forward to working with you towards further strengthening our relations to the mutual benefit of our two nations.
