President of India Writes Toking of Swedenconveying Condolences on Loss of Lives in an Attack on Pedestrians in Stockholm

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has written to theKing of Sweden, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf, conveying condolences on the loss of lives in an attack on pedestrians in Stockholm.
In his message, the President said, "The people of India saw the news of the dastardly attack on pedestrians in the heart of Stockholm yesterday with shock and great sadness. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.
India believes that such indiscriminate acts of violence against innocent populations cannot be justified under any circumstances. Our hearts go out to the families of the victims and we pray for the swift and full recovery of all those who were injured in the incident”.
