President of India Speaks to President of Nepal

The President of India,Shri Pranab Mukherjee spoke on telephone today (25.04.2015) evening toHis ExcellencyDr. Ram Baran Yadav, the President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. He expressed deep shock over the damage and destruction caused by the massive earthquake and enquired about the latest situation and assessment of persons killed in the earthquake. President Mukherjee informed the President of Nepal about rescue and relief assistance being provided by India and assured him of the fullest cooperation and all possible assistance. The President conveyed that the people of India are with the people of Nepal in this hour of crisis and offered his condolences to those killed in the earthquake.
