An iconic figure and eminent industrialist, Shri Munjal was known for his hard-work, vision and immense contribution to the Indian two-wheeler industry. His entrepreneurial abilities resulted in Hero MotoCorp becoming a benchmark for the rest of Indian industry. For his exemplary contribution in the field of trade and industry, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 2005. In his death, the nation has lost a stalwart whose human touch endeared him to all.
