President of India Condoles the Loss of Lives in an Explosion in Madhya Pradesh

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has condoledthe loss of lives in an explosion in Jhabua District of Madhya Pradesh today.

In a message to Shri Ram Naresh Yadav, the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, the President has said "I am sad to know about the gas cylinder explosion this morning in Jhabua District in which a large number of persons have lost their lives and many others are injured.

I call upon authorities to provide all possible aid to the bereaved families as well as medical assistance to the injured. I am sure necessary measures will be taken to investigate the cause of the incident and put in place remedial measures.

Please convey my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased. I wish speedy recovery to the injured persons”.
