President Inaugurates Museum Of Mementos And Memorabilia At His Former School

The President Of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee Inaugurated A Museum Of His Mementos And Memorabilia At Kirnahar Shibchandra High School At Kirnahar In Birbhum On October 10, 2013. He Is A Former Student Of The School, Having Studied There From 1946-1952.

Speaking On The Occasion, The President Recalled His School Days And Referred To Some Former Students Who Have Made Distinct Contribution In Academic And Political Fields.

Mementos, Memorabilia, Admission Registers, Registers Containing Results Of Exams In The Schools Etc. Are On Display In The Museum. Apart From The Register Recording The President’s Admission Into The School, The Register Recording His Father, Freedom Fighter Kamada Kinkar Mukherjee’s Admission Is Also One Of The Exhibits In The Museum.
