Governor of Nagaland Gets Additional Charge of Governor of Assam

The President of India has been pleased to appoint Shri Padmanabha Balakrishna Acharya, Governor of Nagaland, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Assam, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Assam is made vice Shri J.B. Patnaik, who completes his tenure on 10 December, 2014.
