Civic Reception Hosted In Honour Of The President At Agartala

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee was hosted a Civic Reception by the Agartala Municipal Council at Town Hall of Agartala on June 20, 2013.

Speaking on the occasion, the President complemented the State for achieving an GSDP growth rate of 8.6 per cent in 2012-2013 as compared to the GDP growth rate of 5 per cent for the whole of India in that year.

Among the dignitaries present on the occasion were Governor of Tripura, Shri Devanand Konwar, Chief Minister of Tripura, Shri Manik Sarkar and Chairperson of Agartala Municipal Council, Dr. Prafulla Jit Sinha.
