Once the capacity of the solar cell to store more of the energy it traps is enhanced the economics of the benefit of solar energy will make it more and more popular amongst the people. Nano-technology will play an important role in this. Carbon Nano Tube (CNT) will help in improving the efficiency of solar cells. Work is going on around the world as also in India.
